Mobile Legends, Dota 2, CS2, Valorant, and League of Legends. Philippine esports has grown fast, and 696j l covers major tournaments with match winner, map winner, and handicap markets.
Grand Slams, ATP and WTA events, plus baseball, MMA, and more. The 696jl sports section gives you flexibility to follow different sports across a single account and PHP balance.
Sports betting at 696jl is built for Philippine players who follow their favourite teams seriously. Whether you're watching a PBA game on a weeknight or catching a Champions League match on a weekend morning, the 696jl sports section gives you a way to stay engaged with the action – and do it entirely in PHP without any currency conversion.
The platform covers both pre-match betting and live in-play markets. Pre-match lets you lock in a bet before tip-off or kick-off, while live betting lets you place wagers as the game unfolds, with odds updating in real time to reflect what's happening on the court or field. Most regular bettors in Manila and Cebu use both depending on the event.
Basketball is the most-followed sport in the Philippines, and 696jl reflects that by making it one of the most prominently covered categories in the sports section. PBA conference games – Commissioner's Cup, Philippine Cup, Governors' Cup – are covered across the full season, with moneyline, spread, and over/under totals available for most matchups.
For NBA fans, the schedule coverage runs from the regular season through to the playoffs and Finals. You can bet on individual games, choose sides against the spread, or bet totals on combined scoring. During high-profile games, live betting markets open from tip-off and update quarter by quarter.
FIBA competitions, including the FIBA World Cup and Asia Cup, are also included when Philippine national teams and other major sides are competing. These events tend to draw especially strong interest among Filipino bettors, and 696jl typically has broader market depth for these events compared to lower-tier international fixtures.
Football betting at 696jl spans the major European competitions that have a strong following in the Philippines. Premier League matchdays are consistently among the busiest periods on the sports section, with full match lines, both-teams-to-score, correct score, and first goalscorer markets available depending on the fixture. La Liga, Serie A, and the UEFA Champions League and Europa League are also covered with comparable depth.
Asian football is included as well, with AFC Champions League fixtures and select domestic leagues from the region. Philippine football events are covered when they reach notable levels of competition. If you're unsure about coverage for a specific event, checking the sports section after logging in will show you what's currently listed.
The Philippines has a proud tradition in boxing, having produced multiple world champions across weight classes over the decades. 696jl covers major world championship bouts, particularly those with Filipino fighters or internationally significant matchups. Bet types typically include fight winner (moneyline), method of victory, round betting, and whether the fight goes the distance.
For major cards, pre-fight lines open well in advance of the bout, giving you time to assess the matchup and lock in a bet at an earlier price. Availability and market depth can vary by event, so it's worth checking the sports section on the days leading up to a big fight.
Esports has grown rapidly in the Philippines, with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in particular drawing a huge competitive following through tournaments like the MPL Philippines. 696jl covers major esports events including Mobile Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, League of Legends, and CS2 with match winner, map winner, and handicap markets.
Esports betting works similarly to sports betting: you browse available matches, select a market, enter your stake in PHP, and confirm the bet. Live esports markets are available for some events, letting you bet while the match or game series is in progress. If you follow MPL or international tournaments like The International or Worlds, you'll find relevant coverage in the 696jl sports section.
All bets at 696jl are placed in PHP. Your account balance is in PHP, your stakes are in PHP, and any returns are credited in PHP. This makes managing your sports betting budget straightforward – there's no mental conversion needed when you're looking at a stake amount or calculating a potential return.
Before placing bets, it's useful to decide on a per-session or per-event budget in PHP. Sports betting outcomes are not predictable, and even well-researched bets don't guarantee a positive result. Setting a clear budget in advance and sticking to it is one of the most consistent ways to keep sports betting in the category of entertainment rather than a financial strategy.
Deposits can be made via Philippine online and mobile banking or local e-wallets like GCash and Maya. Once your deposit clears, your PHP balance is immediately available for sports betting. More details are on the Deposit page.
The 696jl sports section works fully in a mobile browser. If you're watching a PBA game or an NBA match on your phone, you can switch to the browser, open the sports section, and place a live bet without interrupting your stream. The interface adapts to vertical screens and the most important controls – bet slip, stake entry, and confirmation – are accessible without unnecessary navigation.
For players who prefer an app, 696jl has a downloadable mobile app that gives the same full sports access with potentially faster loading for regular users. More details are on the App page.
Sports knowledge doesn't eliminate risk in betting. Even experienced sports followers have losing runs, and the outcome of any individual match involves factors that can't be fully accounted for in advance. At 696jl, responsible gaming tools are available in your account settings – including deposit limits and self-exclusion options – for players who want a structured approach to managing their betting activity. The Responsible Gaming page has full details on what's available and how to use it.
Understanding the main bet types makes it easier to navigate the sports section and choose markets that suit how you want to follow a game.
The simplest bet: pick which team or player wins. No point spread involved – just choose a side and the odds reflect the implied probability of each outcome.
The favoured team is assigned a handicap (e.g. -5.5 points). They must win by more than that margin for a spread bet on them to win. Evens the betting field between mismatched sides.
Bet on whether the combined score of both teams will be over or under a set number. In basketball, this is often a points total; in football, it's usually goals scored.
Place bets while a match is in progress. Odds update in real time based on what's happening. Available for basketball, football, esports, and select other sports on 696jl.
Combine multiple individual bets into one. All selections must win for the parlay to pay out. Potential returns are higher than single bets, but so is the overall risk.
Bet on the outcome of a specific quarter, half, or period rather than the full match. Popular for NBA and PBA games where quarter-by-quarter momentum shifts frequently.
